Yes, I’m still here, and working on stuff!
Hello you beautiful people!
I'm alive, I promise. I haven't forgotten about this blog, not at all. I have just been too busy with trauma-informed therapy to have any energy to actually play my games.
Right now I'm reading the book "Mythic Game Master Emulator (2E)" so I can play D&D by myself. I adore D&D but have just played a little bit since I don't like group play, and D&D is famously known for group play. But when I found this Mythic-book and heard it could replace the DM (GM) and be used for solo play with any game system, I decided immediately that I wanted to continue my D&D solo campaign.
Until now I have acted as both the player and the DM in D&D, but with this book I can leave some of the surprises and randomness to it to make the game more interesting for me. I enjoy being a GM in the sense that I love worldbuilding and creating lore and stuff, but I still want some suspense and mystery so I thought this book will be perfect as a co-GM. And so I can feel more of the player side of the game.
Right now I'm learning the system and I re-read the Player's Handbook for D&D again to just familiarize with everything once again.
Now is the time 9 PM and it will be early bedtime for me tonight.
