Welcome to this new journey!
This is my brand new blog. I chose BearBlog because I love the idea of simplicity and the similarities to the old web. I'm 32 years old, so I remember when we made our own website out of code and only kept it locally to show our friends, OR if we were brave, shared it online, where our parents warned us not to share private information. I coded a website I still have somewhere locally, at the age of 11. It's ugly but personal. I want this blog to be similar to that. Not ugly, maybe, but simple, personal, and similar to the old web. I just fell in love with BearBlog when I researched blog platforms. It stood between Substack.com and Bearblog.dev, and I chose the latter because I would rather support genuine creator(s) and I like this idea and its concept.
Anyhow, enough about why I chose this platform... I'm Trix. I'm a solo TTRPG (tabletop roleplaying games) enthusiast. I'm also a storyteller, worldbuilder, digital artist, and creative writer. I plan to use this blog for my hobby in solo roleplaying and to share session reports, gameplay, behind-the-scenes, media, resources, and other stuff about the art of roleplaying solo.
The name "Avoranic" was invented by me in 2010. This is a whimsical fantasy world where most of my roleplaying takes place. But also my arts, other writings, and comics.
So this is my first blog post. So I will keep it short and just introduce what this blog will be shortly.
Also, the appearance of this blog is not finished yet. I'm working on it.
